The Rat Torture was when the victim was totally restrained to any horizontal surface. Then a rat was placed on the stomach of the victim and a metal container was placed over the top of the rat. The metal container was gradually heated up and the rat started to look for a way out of the container, the only way was through the victim. The rat ate its way through the intestine of the victim, creating maximum pain for the person.
